MCI Mentoring
The Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award is for people wishing to lead on Multi pitch rock climbs and Scrambles in the UK. We can help before or during your consolidation period with a package of mentoring sessions and advice.
Summary:
Our MCI mentoring courses are a great way to help you on your journey to become an instructor or guide. We will work with you to develop a bespoke training plan and target areas for development. All our instructors have current experience of working regularly as MCI/WMCI.

Who's it for?
Anyone who is thinking of working towards MCI training or Anyone who has already attended MCI training and is working towards an assessment. This course is also suitable for those who run Climbing and Scrambling sessions within a club environment.
Kit Needed:
Personal Mountain walking and Climbing equipment. group equipment, we can provide any technical kit such as rack and ropes.
Itinerary:
We usually meet at 9.00am at a local café. After a short debrief we move to our chosen venue for a day’s instruction and rock climbing. We usually finish by 4.30pm.
How to book:
Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.
Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
