Summary:

Our Navigation Training Advanced course is aimed at those who want to get away from waymarked paths and explore more challenging terrain . This two day course will give you a real opportunity to increase your skill level and practice under the watchful eye of an experienced navigation instructor.

Who's it for?

Anyone who usually avoids getting away from the more popular mountain areas. You will have an understanding of basic map and compass features.

Kit Needed:

Basic hillwalking kit and hillwalking boots. We can provide Map and Compass .

​Itinerary:

Our normal start time and meeting point is 9:00am at a local café. After a quick briefing we head out to our chosen destination for a day of Mountain Walking. We aim to be finished around 4:30pm.

How to book:

Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.

Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
