Snowdonia
Slate Trail
The Snowdonia Slate Trail is an 83 mile circular route that takes in some of the less frequented but still beautiful parts of Northern Snowdonia. This challenge takes 7 days to complete. On average we walk about 12 miles per day.
Summary:
Our Snowdonia Slate Trail Challenge is ideal for regular walkers with a moderate to good level of fitness (Think walking 12 miles over 7 hours, for 7 days). Your Guide will meet you the night before the challenge to ensure you are all set and arrange a meeting point the following morning. We recommend starting the trail at Betws-y-Coed.

Who's it for?
Anyone who has a good level of fitness and is up for a challenge. This is an ideal activity for groups who walk together regularly or individuals looking to join a walking trip.

Kit Needed:
Mountain walking kit. A full kit list will be sent on joining and we can provide support and guidance on the build up to the challenge.
​
​Itinerary:
This challenge benefits from longer daylight hours, therefore June, July and early August are ideal times of the year.
7 days- 8.30am start and aim to finish by 5.30pm

How to book:
Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.
Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
