The Mountain Leader Award is for anyone wanting to lead walks in mountainous terrain. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to gain. We can help before or during your consolidation period with a package of mentoring sessions and advice.
Summary:
Our ML mentoring courses are a great way to help you on your journey to become an instructor or guide. We will work with you to develop a bespoke training plan and target areas for development. All our instructors have current experience of delivering both ML training and Assessments.

Who's it for?
Anyone who is thinking of working towards ML training or Anyone who has already attended ML training and is working towards an assessment. This course is also suitable for those looking to get on the stunt register and those who run single pitch sessions within a club environment.
Kit Needed:
Personal Hillwalking equipment. ML group equipment, We can provide any technical kit such as ropes.
Itinerary:
We usually meet at 9.00am at a local café. After a short debrief we move to our chosen venue for a day’s instruction and rock climbing. We usually finish by 4.30pm.
How to book:
Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.
Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
