Mountain Skills
Our Mountain Skills course is the next step up from our Hill skills course and will take you into more mountainous terrain. You will learn new skills and get plenty of time to practice them.
Summary:
Our Mountain Skills course will provide you with all you need to know to start your journey into the world of mountain walking. Delivered by experienced Mountaineering Instructors and Mountain leaders. You will learn a range of skills and visit differing venues over the two days to ensure you get some variation in the training.

Who's it for?
Anyone who would like to plan their own mountain walks around the UK or brush up on some more advanced navigation skills. This course is aimed at intermediates and people who have aspirations to walk in the mountainous areas of the Uk (eg Snowdonia, Lake District and Scotland) . It is suitable for small groups or individuals.

Kit Needed:
Basic hillwalking kit and hillwalking boots.

​Itinerary:
Our normal start time and meeting point is 9:00am at a local café. After a quick briefing we head out to our chosen destination for a day of Mountain Walking. We aim to be finished around 4:30pm.

How to book:
Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.
Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
