Our Winter Skills Intermediate course is the next step on the ladder for those looking to develop their skills for winter mountain walking. This course is delivered in Snowdonia.
Summary:
Our Winter Skills intermediate course in Snowdonia is ideal for really developing those winter skills. It can be run as a second day after attending the Winter Skills Introduction course. We will put the skills to test on some more challenging mountain walks and introduce new skills.

Who's it for?
Anyone who used crampons and an ice axe before and would like to develop their basic winter skill set. Perhaps you have aspirations of venturing out in the Scottish Highlands in Winter.

Kit Needed:
Mountain walking kit, Crampons, an Ice Axe, goggles. You need to provide your own winter B2/B3 boots. We can provide Crampons /Ice Axe at a cost of £20 per person for the day.

​Itinerary:
Our normal start time and meeting point is 9:00am at a local café. After a quick briefing we head out to our chosen destination for a day of Winter Walking. We aim to be finished around 4:30pm.
